Sign-Off is an offline app for seafarers to track their contracts, earnings and days out of country. This policy explains what the app does — and does not — do with your data.
What data the app stores
All data you enter — contracts, pay rates, overtime, payments, days, and app settings — is stored only on your device, in a local database. The app has no backend server and no user accounts.
What we collect
Nothing. The app does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash reporting. It does not create an account, does not require sign-in, and does not send your data anywhere.
Network use
The app is fully functional offline and does not need an internet connection to work. It does not upload your data.
Backup and export
You can export your data to a file and import it back yourself (for example when moving to a new phone). This happens entirely on your device using the system share sheet and file picker. Where the exported file goes afterwards (a folder, another app, cloud storage you choose) is under your control and governed by that destination's own terms — the app itself does not send it anywhere.
Purchases
If you buy a subscription, the purchase is processed by the app store (Google Play / Apple App Store) under their terms. The app does not receive or store your payment details.
Children
The app is intended for working seafarers and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same URL and the date above will change.
